Reform

REFORM:
On July 10, 2007, only after State Representatives was charged with several Federal counts of extortion and bribery, with 3 others facing charges did Palin sign a Bill. The Bill included:
a)Ban on outside compensation for official acts.
b)Ban accepting campaign contributions as bribes.
c) You can not register as a lobbyist if you were convicted of a felony

Looks like basic common sense rules the rest of us have been following all along. State Sen. of Anchorage, Hollis French says, "You can't write a bill to make dishonest people honest."Rep. Bob Roses of Anchorage says, "Quite Frankly, I thought some things should have been a little tighter than they were..."

Ok, well maybe she made a big reform in health care.
In 2007 Palin empaneled a commission of experts to asses health care issues, which included, at least 2 of her largest campaign contributors. The group recommended that the current program stay in place
In Feb. Palin pushed harder on her issues with health care, but by March, the legislation had watered down her proposal so it would apply only to certain types of medical facilities. Eventually the legislation died. Looks like not much reform there either.
